Toured the RiverClay condos this week and they really hit home when addressing sustainable living — not all green living is created equal and this condos are the cat’s meow for Green Living. This development will be Colorado’s 1st LEED-Certified residential project that boasts recycled & local material, reflective (white) roofs, 40% of energy from the sun, easy access to alternative transportation – this list runs on for days.
The development is located in Denver’s Jefferson Park which used to be part of The Highlands but is now it’s own entity. Jefferson Park is the area just north of Invesco Field but south of Speer Blvd. between Federal & I-25. The area has had a lot of smaller housing developments in the past few years and RiverClay Condos will add to the residential face as well as retail space on the first floor.
The views at RiverClay Condos is was I really enjoyed, as some units have city view of downtown Denver and units facing west get park front views into Jefferson Park and units facing south get Invesco Field views. The kitchens are well-equipped with 5-burner commercial-grade stoves and expansive slab granite islands.
RiverClay Condos are scheduled for completion April/May 2008 and currently there are 14 units still available. The Jefferson Park Condos range from 1bedroom/1 bath units to 2 bedroom/2bath/1 study. The units are priced from $252,000 to $649,000.

[…] Vali Wimberly at Denver Fresh has a nice writeup about the RiverClay Condos. It looks to me like Jefferson Park is Denver’s latest up and coming neighborhood. Plus it’s close to Jack-N-Grill, home of the best burritos in Denver. SHARETHIS.addEntry({ title: “Denver Fresh on the RiverClay Condos”, url: “http://denvermodern.mariah.com/?p=214″ }); […]
